The CBR Literature Database is currently available.
The CBR Literature Database is a searchable catalog of the research library maintained by Columbia Basin Research, School of Aquatic & Fishery Sciences, University of Washington. The database and research library serves the research staff of CBR. The database includes references for technical reports from Bonneville Power Administration [BPA], U.S. Army Corps of Engineers [COE], National Marine Fisheries Service [NMFS], and various other fish and wildlife agencies and tribes. It also includes journal articles and book chapters pertaining to areas of research: fisheries, climate change, marine biology, animal behavior, modeling, and mathematics. The main focus of the database is research on salmon biology and the Snake and Columbia Rivers from the 1980s and continuing to the present. It also contains journal articles dating back to the 1950s and technical reports dating back to the 1960s. At this time, the database contains over 2200 records. The database uses WAIS (Wide Area Information Servers), an architecture for a distributed information retrieval system. The CBR Literature Database now includes references to documents that are available in electronic formats. (References are being added as time allows.)
