Grand Ronde Spring Chinook Super-Stock

Methods

Wild spring chinook releases from 1993 to 1997 in the Grand Ronde River sub-basin were examined for individual fish detected at Lower Granite and at least one subsequent PITTAG site. These fish were combined into cohorts based on the date of initial detection. Cohorts were constructed by combining 7 consecutive days of detections at Lower Granite Dam that had a sample size of 15 or more fish. Cohorts with fewer than three subsequent detections at Little Goose, Lower Monumental, or McNary were discarded.
