Active Tag-Life-Adjusted Survival

Program ATLAS allows investiagors to interactively model data from a tag-life study to produce a tag-life ? curve. The resulting failue time model is then used to produce bias adjusted estimates of survival for single-release, paired-release, and virtua/paired-release recapture designs.

Version 1.4.4 - 12/5/2011

Features:
  • A check was put in place to warn and block computation on a dataset for which the tag count in any one bin/lot is insufficient for computation
Enhancements:
  • When a lot/bin has no fish, usually due to selecting an attribute group that is missing the bin/lot, the program will allow an estimate
  • It is no longer necessary to fit a tag life curve to a tag life dataset that hasn't been mapped to a tag lot
  • The report generator will now remember the output folder from a previous run
Bug Fixes:
  • The program would crash when writing survival constraints to the report configuration table for all reports
  • The progress dialog was not updating durin mult-run execution
  • The contraints were not being cleared after a new dataset is loaded
  • A factory reset was not resetting optimizer settings

Version 1.4.3 - 11/10/2011

Enhancements:
  • Ability to load an attribute group file and analyze a subset of the data by selecting desired attributes.
  • Multi-Run Mode added, alllowing for unassisted multiple runs for each selected attribute.
  • The Calculate Tag Life Corrections Table function now requires a minimum of 10 detections per site per lot. If the minimum requirement is not met, "NA"s are put in the table and the "Compute" action is not allowed.
  • The configuration section of the reports now report the parameter constraints and the equating of parameters across releases.
Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed incorrect labeling of report columns in paired-release mode.

Enhancements:
  • Clarified single release parameter report. When calculating separate survivals for reaches the pooled survival table is not available and a note indicating the reason for the omission is in its place.
Bug Fixes:
  • The program would be put into an inconsistent state when the data update failed under certain circumstances.

  • When loading a new capture history data file with one or more tag life groups loaded, the tag life group mapping dialog would be invalidated.

  • Simplified tag life group mapping. Since tag lots span release groups, the release group is no longer included in the mapping process.
  • Added a note when mapping tag life groups indicating that closed form parameter estimates are not available with multiple tag life data groups.

  • Program would crash when a parameter report (or parameter covariance report or modeled cumulative survival report) was open and a new dataset was loaded.

Version 1.0.44 - 9/1/2010

  • Fixed error that caused a crash when a tag-alive time was greater than the largest value in the tag life data, when using the non- parametric curve.
  • All environment settings are now reset when doing a factory restore, including window position and size. It was possible for a window size and position settings to be come corrupt so that a window would display behind docking windows on the sides and bottom of the screen. Doing a factory reset should clear the corrupt settings and restore the default window positions and sizes.
  • Fixed resizing issue with the Select Tag Life Curve widget, allowing it to resize small enough to fit on smaller screens.
