PitPro Site Configuration
Check here for information and motivations for changes to the PitPro sites configuration file.
The PitPro sites configuration is based on the PTAGIS current and historical site configuration documents available here:
The PitPro sites configuration also incorporates exceptions to the PTAGIS configuration rule which usually indicate periods where raceway fish are bypassed to river or cases where data analysis has shown that the PTAGIS configuration dates are off by some small margin.
Revisions:
Version 2007.8.6 - 8/6/2007- All of the Three Miles Falls Dam dispositions where changed to returned to river (R). According to Josh Hanson at Oregon Dept. of Fish and Wildlife all fish at the Dam are normally returned to the river and any fish that are sampled will be recorded in the recapture data. Also in this update, the monitor names for TMF were truncated which has been fixed in this version.
- The FULL FLOW BYPASS detector at LMJ was erroneously given a Returned to River (R) disposition The correct disposition is Bypass (B). Whereas R takes precedence of Transported (T), B does not and only indicates R when it is the last detection. This only effects runs involving observations occurring after the FULL FLOW BYPASS system came online at LMJ on 1-Mar-2007.
- Updates reflect changes to the system indicated in the latest PTAGIS
configuration documents:
- Updates to Priest Rapids Adult (PRA)
- Updates cover transportation bypass events indicated by an analysis of brood years 1996-2004 data. The events are indicated by periods where a large number of fish flagged as transported are detected downstream (as juveniles). Updates include the addition of exceptional cases to GRJ, GOJ, LMJ, and MCJ.
- Updates reflect changes to the system indicated in the latest PTAGIS
configuration documents:
- GRJ: Added new EAST RACEWAY 10, BYPASS RIVER EXIT and RCWY-10 DIVERSION monitors.
- LMJ: Added new Full Flow Bypass monitor, antennas 01 - 04; renumbered B-Exit antennas to 61 and 62.
- JDJ: Added new Full Flow Bypass array, with antennas 01 - 04.
