Model Definitions may be saved to a file and loaded at a later SURPH.2 session. They are stored as text files that may be edited by the user with a standard text editor (see Model Definition format). This may be desirable in cases where there are so many populations and/or periods that displaying the model setup on a monitor would be difficult.
