The Second Annual Nanticoke River Shad Festival will be held April 26, 1997 from 10-4 in Vienna, Maryland.
Activities will include a canoe and kayak race (to participate contact survival products at 410-543-1244), shad planking, shad bush planting, children's activities and Bay area folk artists and musicans.
Admission is free - planked shad, chicken dinners and beverages on sale.
